I had a friend…..

who looked like Santa Claus…..

and this friend, who looked like Santa Claus, wanted to play the flute.

And so it came that we should meet….

that day when Santa came to learn the flute.

and through the years, he practiced and blew

ever yearning to play the flute.

And though he progressed, the thing that grew the brightest…

was a friend I will never forget, who wanted to play the flute.

So as the years pass….

I will always remember to practice and blow on my precious flute.

And with each student…..

I will always remember to say “Good to see you!”

each time we meet to play the flute.

So when ever you wonder if Santa Claus is real….

Just remember the spirit lives in each one of use to reveal.
