Is your faith in ruins? Are you living day to day not seeing the evidences of God’s power and love all around you? Let us begin again. Let us today rejoice in the knowledge of how mighty is our God…a God who saves.

The psalm I have selected below is thought to be one of the psalms Jesus sang with his disciples at the Last Supper. Imagine…the night before he died, he was able to sing these words…
“Praise the Lord.
Praise , O servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord.
Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
The Lord is exalted over all the nations,
his glory above the heavens.
Who is like the Lord our God, the one who sits enthroned on high,
Who stoops down to look on the heaven and the earth?
He raises the poor from dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
He seats them with princes, with the princes of the people.
He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children.
Praise the Lord.” ~ Psalm 113
Let us rejoice and live as people of the resurrection everyday of the year! May we see God’s beauty and the riches of his glory all around us this week.
“…no despair of ours can alter the reality of things, or stain the joy of the cosmic dance which is always there…The silence of the spheres is the music of a wedding feast.” ~ Thomas Merton, New seeds of Contemplation
Happy Sunday!
Peace be with you:)
Thanks to Samantha Rundlett who is working as my photographer on assignment in England. The photos above were taken this past week as she enjoyed the beauty of God’s blessings in the sights and sounds near her home:)
