…He has filled the hungry with good things. ~ Luke 1:53
Just a little mini devotional this week. A few bits and pieces of things I jotted down in my journal. The music is lovely and I hope you will be able to follow the link to YouTube to find it and have a listen.

Keep this book of law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. ~ Joshua 1:8
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. ~ Psalm 1: 1-3
Dear Lord,
Thank you for a good night…for the rain and the birds. Thank you for the new faith practice of meditating on your word through the daily lectionary. I have gone my own way in the past and you have plucked out my prideful ways. Thank you for family and friends who love and listen. Thank you for new books and new interests. Most of all thank you for Jesus–who came to live among us–to teach us your ways and to sacrifice his body and blood to heal our broken spirit.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. ~ Romans 12:12
May God’s peace be with you:)
