My Inspiration

Time for a little Vincent. He is such a favorite of many of my friends and will always be a source of light and inspiration. May God continue to bless dear Vincent and hold him close within his care. These are just a few of his works that I had never noticed before.

Giving Thanks

Thank you dear Lord, for this Advent season. I’m so glad that you came and are among us and will come again. Thank you for giving me the wisdom to take less on this year so that I might enjoy the labor of others. I feel like I could attend something different every ten minutes in my little neck of the woods. I’m picking just a few things to see and do and friends to catch up with while discovering new things. I look forward to the unprogramed time too–Time to read, watch old movies and do a little cooking…a winter break is at hand and for that I give thanks and praise knowing that the beauty of the flowers is still to come.

Abundant Praise

Thank you dear Lord for your many blessings. I am rich with your abundant love. I opened my eyes and saw new life everywhere. I have sent out the messengers to bring them into your banquet ….and many came. Time and again Lord you bless me through some means that I would have discarded…but you know me better than I know myself. You have sent me the young and shown me the joy of new discovery, you have sent me new families; empty nesters and shown me how to see through those who have fading eyesight. You have extended my circle and for that I give you abundant praise and honor.

Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it. ~ Genesis 28:16

Come and See said Philip… I tell you the truth, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the son of man. ~ See John 1: 46-51
