Sailing in the Light of God

It can be the most upsetting  when we feel we are confidently walking on water and suddenly we are blindsided by a crisis turning our world upside down. Like Peter, a huge wave of doubt can crash in and knock us all off balance… emotionally.

How can we find comfort and peace amid the inevitable storms that come our way?

By trusting in the knowledge that we are a beloved child of the almighty God…

And by never taking our eyes off of our need for Christ.

It is when we remember to share our doubts with Jesus that he will provide instant support and relief.

As described in the Gospel account of Peter walking on water:

“…..Lord save me, and immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.” Matt 14

“A lifetime of Church going and Jesus still seemed like an enigma to me. I could feel the warmth of his love in the presence of certain individuals but I still felt like an outsider waiting for my invitation to the private doorway of his affection.”

I invite you to join me as I share my journey to finding Jesus.
