Advent Doors Day 6: Harvest of Peace

When we meditate on pictures of Jesus our hearts are transformed. Gazing, either through images, poetry, dance or song, fills our hearts and helps us to touch the divine nature of God that lives within us.

Whisper Prayers of Wonder

I came to the conclusion that when I’m in my Abba’s presence, I do not need to say anything. He and I walk together quietly and there is peace in my heart and mind.

Watchers in the Night

Notice how he gives us a sort of bird’s eye view of a village that is very brightly light by the moon. Shadows are cast long as the road wides around the church and into the distance.

Stillness: First Steps

Praising God: Stillness

There is something about this painting I find very appealing… Maybe it represents something to my subconscious mind. I feel like I could look at it for ages and never grow tired. I believe my mother had a reproduction of this painting hanging on the wall of our house in California, so it could represent…

Praising God: The Cloudscape

A dear friend of mine and a fellow blogger posted online that he was suddenly becoming more aware of how important it is to spend time in praise of God. And I thought “wow! amazingly simply but very profound.” and I am resolved to spend more time in praise. I hope to encourage you in…
